Next Generation E Paper Technology.

E-paper technology is designed in such a way to mimic the appearance of ordinary paper.   E-paper consists of thin electronic display, unlike ordinary display it reflects sunlight that gives the readers a much more legible text to read.

Electrophoretic display:

E-paper technology consists E-ink suspened  between two transparent electrode layers.

E-ink capsules are made of titanium oxide which are optically reflecting, when voltage is applied some particles move to viewing side of the paper thus causing the reflection of light it appears white

If the particles move to the rear side of the display dark colored moves up front and hence it appears black, thus alternating the voltage a pixel is formed and hence the image.
Further different types of colors can be obtained by placing suitable color filters color filters above the spheres

Electrowetting:

Electrowetting displays consists of water and oil interface, when no voltage is applied oil is above water the hence the display appears black.

when voltage is applied the surface tension is disturbed an hence they are no longer in equilibrium, this cause the display to appear colored, it also has added feature the change is color is so fast, it is possible to display video contents.

Electrofluidic:

This is one type of electrowetting display in which there is a reservoir of aqueous pigments that come out behind the viewing part when voltage is applied and the display absorbs them and appears colored, bright corresponding to applied voltage.

when the voltage is removed the surface tension causes the pigments to recoil into the reservoir.

This technology may actually change the way in which our future generations read, mainly it puts an end to  deforestation which is simply unthinkable

  3. It's nice...but we can't afford gracious things...:-(
we can read in a dark room???

  4. it's still in development phase so its a little bit costly
no it only reflects light doesn't produces it as other ordinary displays nd reading in a dark room is not good for ur eyes!!

how make a good blog post!!

Most of us write blog for very many different reasons, but the sole purpose stands on the fact that we want to gain some attraction and popularity. The best way to do that is to be the best at what you do. The art of writing a famous blog is not an easy task, it takes time and patience, it is so because blogs are  one of the fastest-growing means of mass communication, they have gained a lot of attention since the 2000 and they are a now becoming a serious rival for traditional media like newspaper and other mass media. So here the few tips that I think will result in a good blog post if followed thoroughly: 1.      As the old saying goes “plan well before you do anything”, first  choose what type of blog you want to create. Have a rock solid idea about your main theme. The main success of the blog lies in the fact that you should consider your blog as an extension of yourself. Your blog identifies who you are. It exposes the person who you are on ...

Google Drive

hey guys have you come across these words cloud storage, cloud computing, cloud apps etc.., well here is an little interesting sneak peak into what they really mean...etc   A cloud storage is virtual space on the internet where all your data will be stored on various servers all over the world. The best example being your gmail account.   Google has its own cloud storage called Google drive, which was earlier knows as Google docs, was launched in April 2012.   Google drive is much more advanced, efficient and user-friendly compared to other cloud storage facilities like Dropbox, Box.net, Microsoft, Amazon.   A Google Drive  user can store all most anything that he needs it to be in very safe place, for a long time.     Three unique features of Google drive:   1.It s upports many file formats. Some of them being Image files (.JPEG, .PNG, .GIF, .TIFF, .BMP) Video files (WebM, .MPEG4, .3GPP, .MOV, .AVI, .MPEGPS...
