Facts behind the Google Logo

Every day we use Google search. Its iconic logo is one of the main reason for its success, but little do we know about it.These are some of the facts that i find some of the real facts behind the google logo.

Present Google's logo was designed by Ruth kedar.

Did u notice that on special days of the year the google logo changes from its normal design and unique images appear these are called doodles.
There is a separate team in Google to design these logo's.Even with its own chief designer,Denni Hwang.

Doodle4Google competition:

Do u know that google conducts competition to design there logo, everyone from kinder-garden to 12 can participate and create their own design for google, then the winner of the competition will win a free trip to the Googlpex(corporate headquarters).

This was first introduced in England but now it has expanded to several countries including United States,Singapore,Ireland and even in India it was held in 2009 for the first time, and the winning doodle was displayed on the Google india homepage.

Even the favicon changes from time to time.until 2008  it was a blue, uppercase "G" on white background.
In 2008-09 it was changed to lower case 'g' in white with blue background which became the google's official logo.

It was  desiged by André Resende, a computer science undergraduate student at the University of Campinas in Brazil. He submitted it for a contest launched by Google in June 2008 for favicon's  . From the Official Google Blog: "His placement of a white 'g' on a color-blocked background was highly recognizable and attractive, while seeming to capture the essence of Google"

Did u notice that all the colours used in the google's logo are primary colours expect the letter 'o' which is in yellow colour -a secondary colour;stating the fact that google doesn't follow rules.

history of google's logo at a glance:

The Google! logo used in August, 1998 until June, 1999

The May 31, 1999-present Google logo without shadows since May 6, 2010. The major difference in comparison to the logo with shadows (in use since May 31, 1999) is the reduced distance of the projected shadow behind the word Google and the change in color of the yellow "o" to orange.

On May 21, 2010, the 30th anniversary of the arcade game Pac-Man, Google unveiled worldwide their first interactive logo, created in association with Namco.Anyone who visited Google could play Pac-Man on the logo, which featured the letters of the word 'Google' on the Pac-Man maze.Even the sounds were real.

Google displayed an interactive electric guitar doodle starting June 9, 2011 to celebrate the 96th birthday of Les Paul.
we see a lot of things but we don't seem have the in depth knowledge about what see atmost all the time in our day to day life.

The art of writing a famous blog is not an easy task, it takes time and patience, it is so because blogs are  one of the fastest-growing means of mass communication, they have gained a lot of attention since the 2000 and they are a now becoming a serious rival for traditional media like newspaper and other mass media. So here the few tips that I think will result in a good blog post if followed thoroughly: 1.      As the old saying goes “plan well before you do anything”, first  choose what type of blog you want to create. Next Generation E Paper Technology.

E-paper technology is designed in such a way to mimic the appearance of ordinary paper.   E-paper consists of thin electronic display, unlike ordinary display it reflects sunlight that gives the readers a much more legible text to read.  Electrophoretic display: E-paper technology consists E-ink suspened  between two transpare nt electrode layers. E-ink capsules are made of titanium oxide which are optically reflecting, when voltage is applied some particles move to viewing side of the paper thus causing the reflection of light it appears white  If the particles move to the rear side of the display dark colored moves up front and hence it appears black, thus alternating the voltage a pixel is formed and hence the image.   Further different types of colors can be obtained by placing suitable color filters color filters above the spheres Electrowetting: Electrowetting displays consists of water and oil interface, when no voltage is applied oil is above wate
